Tolerance Poster Lecture in Sofia, Bulgaria

As a part of the new show in front of NGPI St. Luke, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Albena Spasova, co-founder of the   International Triennial of Stage Poster   - Sofia, held a lecture showing, among others, Tolerance Posters that were not displayed at the school because of space limitations. Spasova also spoke about the mission of art — and of the poster in particular — to defend just causes, to shape public attitudes, and to cultivate civic intolerance toward all forms of violence and violations of human dignity. The lecture was held on March 9th for students from the Advertising Design and Metal departments. Albena Spasova, in 1994, cofounded the International Triennial of Stage Poster - Sofia. Today, it is the only international platform focusing on stage posters and their myriad incarnations.  Special thanks to Ralitsa Karapanteva, the director of the National High School of Applied Arts “St. Luka” (NGPI St. Luke), and Albena Spasova, for organizing this event .
