Tolerance Poster Show in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina

On October 23rd, Tolerance Poster Show was open in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it’s going to be open till November 27th, 2020. The show was invited to Tuzla by the mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamovic, to celebrate November 16th, the International Day of Tolerance and November 25th, the Day of Statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Multiple copies of posters are spread through the streets of Tuzla, hanged on prominent buildings, even displayed in coffee shops.
 
We are grateful to Mayor Jasmin Imamovic, who is in cooperation with Centar za culturu, Tuzla (Cultural Center of Tuzla) that made the show possible.

Tolerance Poster Show in Taipei, Taiwan

On November 24th, we had the opening of the Tolerance Poster Show in the Ximen Red House in Taipei. The Red House is a historical building that has over 500 visitors per day.   The Tolerance Poster Show takes place alongside the Taiwan International Student Design Competition Award Ceremony. This not only enriches the exhibition of the award-winning designs but also introduces more teachers and students in Taiwan to The Tolerance Project. This show was made possible by the effort of Prof. Apex Lin, Prof. Leo Lin and Miira Lin.   The announcement poster for the Taipei show is created by Leo Lin.      

2nd Tolerance Posters Show in Zagreb, Croatia

On November 16th, the International Day of Tolerance , the Tolerance Poster Show was displayed in the center of Zagreb on the fence of the Botanical Garden . Here is a link to a short video of the show . Unfortunately only 24 hours later, the show was "attacked" by Neo-Nazis graffitis. On the posters, they wrote "NDH", which is the abbreviation for Nezavisna Država Hrvatska (Independent State of Croatia) a Second World War puppet state of Nazi Germany. On others, they graffitied the letter "U" which is the symbol for Ustaša the Second World War Croatian fascist organization. And they even wrote "Smrt Srbozločincima" (Death to the Serbian criminals). Luckily, the organizers of the show figured out how to remove this hate speech and the symbols. Tolerance Poster Show in Kolding, Denmark

On December 3rd the Tolerance Poster Show opened at the university Design School Kolding in Kolding, Denmark. The posters are being exhibited in the window grid running in one long band around the university building, so it could be seen from the street. At the beginning of December, all the posters were also projected onto the window grid at night during the Kolding Light Festival . The exhibition will continue until the end of February 2021. The show was made possible by Rikke Hansen and the efforts of the staff; Mette Thrane Frandsen, Alan Schmidt, Nina Prochniewska, Emil Toft Beier and Mia Friis, and the students from the Design School Kolding.
