On May 21st we had an opening of the Tolerance Poster show at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey . The posters were displayed throughout the main halls of the campus. There are 120 posters exh ibited, including 10 Turkish designers who created posters especially for this show. The show was opened by Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingol. And a special attendance made by the founding president of Yeditepe University, Bedrettin Dalan. All of this was made possible by the efforts of Head of Graphic design and Assistant Prof. Ozlem Mutaf Buyukarman. The show was featured on Turkish national television channel TRT 2. The poster for the show was created by one of the most celebrated designers and illustrators in Turkey, Gurbuz Dogan Eksioglu.
THE TOLERANCE PROJECT has brought a message of social acceptance to over 400,000 people in 46 countries. Founded by artist-activist Mirko Ilić, this initiative showcases posters designed by artists from around the world.
