As part of the "Tolerance" exhibition at Europe House , in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I held a lecture on November 15, 2023. My lecture, live from New York, was on the topic "Symbols of Hate". It was focused on new symbols of hate on a global and on a local and regional level, which was followed by a Q&A. The lecture was attended by art and political science students as well as by their professors.
THE TOLERANCE PROJECT has brought a message of social acceptance to over 700,000 people in 50 countries. Founded by artist-activist Mirko Ilić, this initiative showcases posters designed by artists from around the world. THE TOLERANCE PROJECT starts a conversation about inclusion, which can only begin with a foundation of tolerance. The show utilizes the unique power of design to remind us what we all have in common.
