I am excited to announce that the Tolerance Poster Show will be presented at the LUMINE ART FAIR at LUMINE ZERO in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from November 2nd to 4th, ahead of UNESCO’s International Day for Tolerance on November 16. We are grateful to curator Aya Komboo, Professor Matthew Waldman, and SAMCARA Lab at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design for their relentless efforts that brought the show to life, starting with its 2023 debut at the Roppongi Art Fair. You can find out more about the past two Tolerance Poster Shows in Japan here and here .
THE TOLERANCE PROJECT has brought a message of social acceptance to over 700,000 people in 50 countries. Founded by artist-activist Mirko Ilić, this initiative showcases posters designed by artists from around the world. THE TOLERANCE PROJECT starts a conversation about inclusion, which can only begin with a foundation of tolerance. The show utilizes the unique power of design to remind us what we all have in common.
