"ToleranZittau" Project

  We are happy to share with you that we recieved the first announcement for the " ToleranZittau " Project   in Zittau, Germany which will happen between July 16th and September 15th, 2024. The project is supported by " Demokratie leben! ” and organized by “ToleranZittau Projekt” together with " Oberlausitzer-kunstverein . ”  The event includes a Tolerance Poster Show, and people of Zittau are also invited to create their own tolerance posters which will become part of this exhibition. ToleranZittau are also organizing a workshop and invited individuals, groups and school classes to join create tolerance posters together.  

Tolerance Project: Poster House Blog

Angelina Lippert   is the chief curator and director of content for the  Poster House  in NYC, which, believe it or not, is the only museum dedicated exclusively to posters in the United States. She totally amazed me by writing this article in real-time for the Poster House blog about today's pop-up show at Union Square.  Here, you can read the whole article.    

"Symbols of Hate" Lecture in Europe House

As part of the   "Tolerance" exhibition at Europe House , in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I held a lecture on November 15, 2023. My lecture, live from New York, was on the topic "Symbols of Hate". It was focused on new symbols of hate on a global and on a local and regional level, which was followed by a Q&A. The lecture was attended by art and political science students as well as by their professors.    

Tolerance Poster Show on Pakistani HUM News

Here is a link to HUM News , one of Pakistan's most-watched news channels. This segment is on the Tolerance Poster Show in Lahore, which opened on September 16th in the Grand Event Space in Packages Mall, the city's biggest and best shopping mall. The show was organized and curated by Aarish Sadar, an associate professor at Beaconhose National University.  

Tolerance at The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation

It is my pleasure to let you know that  on July 26th,  the Tolerance Poster Show in  designforum Wien  in Vienna was featured in the news segment of  ORF – The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation . ORF is Austria’s largest media provider, operating four national television and twelve radio channels as well as a comprehensive range of websites.  Here is the link to the broadcast.  You can watch it for six days after it is put online.  The Tolerance Poster Show in Designforum Vienna is our 170th show.  

Tolerance Kids, Maribor

We are happy to share that a small booklet called Tolerance Kids was published accompanying The Tolerance Poster Show and workshop activities with children in Maribor, Slovenia. "Tolerance Kids are the future world leaders who will create a kind, tolerant, inclusive, and open society. Let us listen to them. Let us amplify their voice for our common, dignified future in all our diversity." The booklet was edited, and the workshop was organized by Tanja Cvitko. IT’S A PASSION THING Interview

I just recently received the new issue of   IT’S A PASSION THING   magazine. In this issue, Karin Novozamsky conducted an interview with me about Tolerance Project.  IT’S A PASSION THING is an Austrian biannual magazine, celebrating aptitude and passion in creating a style of life. "Design Activism" at National Museum of Zrenjanin

I am happy to share with you that on April 23rd, 2023, I held a lecture in the exhibition hall of the National Museum of Zrenjanin in Serbia entitled " Design Activism " , accompanying the Tolerance Poster Show in Belo Blato, a small village near Zrenjanin. The lecture is about the necessity of freedom of expression and the need for artistic activism. The organizer of the lecture at the National Museum of Zrenjanin was curator and art historian Dejan Vorgić with the support of Marta Aničić (AirMarta) and Salaš Lujza , who are the organizers of the Tolerance Poster Show in Belo Blato. Tolerance workshop at the MOME, Budapest

As part of the Tolerance Poster Show, during the week of March 27th, 2023, I held a Tolerance Poster workshop for the students at the MOME, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. After the workshop, the student posters were displayed on the wall of the school's main lobby, where the Tolerance Poster Show's posters were displayed on the floor.   The workshop was organized by prof. Simon Bence Péter, and it was made possible with the support of the MOME Foundation as part of the "Global Voices at MOME" initiative. Photos by Máté Lakos.    

"Design Activism" at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest

As part of the Tolerance Poster Show, on March 27th, 2023, I gave a lecture titled "Design Activism" to students and design professionals at the MOME Auditorium of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. The program was organized by prof. Péter Bence Simon, and it was made possible with the support of the MOME Foundation as part of the "Global Voices at MOME" initiative .   Photos by Máté Lakos
