Tolerance Posters

We are pleased to let you know that tomorrow is the last day to visit the distributed exhibition "Crossing the Border, Tolerance." The posters of the Tolerance Poster Show, brought to the city by "Crossing the Border," are on display at the Trieste Covered Market, in Piazza Goldoni and Viale D'Annunzio. An installation of some of these posters is also present in Gorizia, in Corte Bratina, until the end of the month. The show was organized by   Cizerouno   Cultural Association as part of the Varcare la Frontiera (Crossing the Border) festival, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and in co-organization with the Municipality of Trieste. Pictured above and below is the work of the   Performance Klub Fiskulturnik   collective, which debuted in Trieste on January 24th during the 37th edition of the Trieste Film Festival, and has generated great interest and participation after being presented in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom. ...

We are pleased to inform you of the opening of a Tolerance Poster Show in Agrigento, Sicily. The show is opening today, December 5th, in the Piazza Pirro Marconi, near the central train station. The installation will consist of four monumental banners containing 256 square meters of Tolerance Posters. The show is our latest collaboration with  the Trieste-based association   Cizerouno . A crossover project, coordinated by Massimiliano Schiozzi and Vincenzo Luongo, connecting several geographically distant communities—Agrigento, Trieste, Lampedusa, Gorizia—shared by similar border dynamics: places where history, culture, and migration intertwine and generate new forms of coexistence. Once we receive more images of the installed posters, we will share them with you here. I am excited to announce a series of upcoming Tolerance Poster Shows in Italy.   'A city historically a hub of exchange and ideas, Trieste offers a unique setting for reflecting on tolerance, understood not only as a value but as an essential art form of coexistence. It becomes the ideal stage for Mirko Ilić's Tolerance Project to debut in our region. Cizerouno , with "Varcare la frontiera_Tolleranza," funded by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, will organize the Tolerance Project with a series of regional stops in Trieste, Gorizia, and Udine between September and December 2025.   The project will premiere in Lampedusa starting July as part of the events for Agrigento 2025, Capital of Culture.   Thanks to the support of the Autonomous Authority for the Archaeological and Landscape Park of the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, banners will be installed on the façade of the Archaeological Museum and on Via Roma, thus renewing our association's collab...

I am happy to share with you that the Tolerance Poster Show which opened April 29th in Civitanova Marche was a part of their May Day Festival celebration.   At the celebration, among others, the mayor Fabrizio Ciarapica was present, as well as the deputy mayor Claudio Morresi, the vice-president of the city council Giorgio Pollastrelli, the city councilors Paola Campetelli, Paola Fontana, Piero Gismondi, together with the representatives of the Carabinieri, State Police, Guardia di Finanza, Captaincy of Port, Civil Protection.   The ceremony happened in different locations throughout the city. The final destination was the Cartacanta Festival exhibition of Tolerance Posters. This exhibition was created in collaboration with the Municipality of Civitanova, the MAGMA Museum and the Buon Vento Association.   This show was made possible through the relentless effort of Enrico Lattanzi , the director of MAGMA – Museo Archivio Grafica Manifesto . This year, the "Tolerance Poster Show" will be part of the "Torino Graphic Days", which takes place between September 17th to October 2nd in Torino, Italy. The show will be featuring 50 Tolerance posters and it will take place at the outdoor space of Docks Dora (former general warehouses). On July 12th as part of Artivism: The Atrocity Prevention Pavilion we had an opening of the Tolerance Poster show in Venice, Italy. The show includes 100 posters which will be on display for one month throughout the streets of Venice. The show was made possible and organized by The Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation and The City of Venice.
