2024 End-of-Year Report

We are pleased to share that in 2024, we helped organize a record-breaking 28 Tolerance Poster Shows—the most we've ever had in a single year. In addition, we helped organize many lectures and workshops related to these shows.   Review of Tolerance Poster Show in Tiempo Argentino newspaper. The exhibition opens today at the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo in Buenos Aires. '“The Tolerance Project,” a traveling exhibition of graphic artists from around the world that aims to promote dialogue and inclusion' 'The “The Tolerance Project” exhibition,” concludes Juan Lo Bianco, “is also an open-air class on how to make social posters of this kind. We have been encouraging this type of joint work between public institutions for a long time, always with very good results. We have worked with the Chilean Embassy, ​​with the Recoleta Cultural Center, with other universities, and experience tells us that working in this way enriches a project greatly.”'  

Tolerance Poster Show in Skopje

Here is the first announcement for my lecture 'Design Activism' on December 12th in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje, North Macedonia. Additionally, on December 6th, the Tolerance Poster Show will open at the Faculty of Architecture, both in the gallery and on the street in front of the building. If you are somewhere close by, please join us.

Tolerance on Veterans Day

In commemoration of Veterans Day, November 11th, the University of Delaware has decorated The Green with American flags. Together with   the Tolerance Poster Show—"Tolerance on the Green" , it creates quite a striking and powerful scene.  "Tolerance on the Green" opened on The Green at the University of Delaware on November 1st and will be on display until November 30th. 

Upcoming Tolerance Poster Show at the University of Delaware

We are pleased to announce that the Tolerance Poster Show will take place at the University of Delaware on November 1st. Forty tolerance posters will be on display until November 30th. On November 16th, in commemoration of the International Day for Tolerance , Mirko Ilić will lead a walking tour of the show. The tour will begin near Gore Hall.   You can find more information about this upcoming show  here .  

"ToleranZittau" Project

  We are happy to share with you that we recieved the first announcement for the " ToleranZittau " Project   in Zittau, Germany which will happen between July 16th and September 15th, 2024. The project is supported by " Demokratie leben! ” and organized by “ToleranZittau Projekt” together with " Oberlausitzer-kunstverein . ”  The event includes a Tolerance Poster Show, and people of Zittau are also invited to create their own tolerance posters which will become part of this exhibition. ToleranZittau are also organizing a workshop and invited individuals, groups and school classes to join create tolerance posters together.  

Children's Tolerance Workshop in Maribor

We are pleased to share with you that on June 29th, 2023, the Tolerance Poster Show was displayed in front of the Sports Association Center Maribor in Town Park in Maribor, Slovenia. This exhibition was special because the main audience, besides the general public, were children aged 6-12. After viewing the posters and having a discussion about the word Tolerance, the children were encouraged to explore their understanding and artistic talent through a workshop.  We are grateful to Tanja Cvitko whose relentless effort made this show and workshop possible. "Students for Tolerance" at FH Joanneum Graz

I am pleased to let you know that today   Steven Heller   published a post about the "Students for Tolerance" workshop in his prestigious blog "The Daily Heller". Inspired by the "Tolerance Project", this initiative was started by   Tomislav Bobinec   a professor at the Institute of Design and Communication at FH Joanneum Graz in Austria. This is the second year of the "Students for Tolerance" workshop and is a collaboration of art school students from different European countries. You can read Steven Hellers post here .
