On September 21st as a part of celebration of the United Nations holiday, International Day of Peace , the Tolerance poster show was opened in Novi Sad, Serbia. Posters were displayed in a few different outdoor locations in the city, among others, on the building of the Novi Sad Synagogue, Ballet High School, and on the walls of the Youth Center CK13 . The show is organized and made possible by the efforts of Silvana Zivkovic and Youth Center CK13. THE TOLERANCE PROJECT has brought a message of social acceptance to over 400,000 people in 46 countries. Founded by artist-activist Mirko Ilić, this initiative showcases posters designed by artists from around the world. THE TOLERANCE PROJECT starts a conversation about inclusion, which can only begin with a foundation of tolerance. The show utilizes the unique power of design to remind us what we all have in common.
